This study revealed that an advanced calorie consumption has a negative effect on life expectancy. In fact, the tests brought to evidence these three conclusions :

1. This gene named PHA-4 regulates the activity of a group of genes responsible for aging processes.
2. In case the calorie consumption is reduced while the gene PHA-4 is artificially blocked, a test animal won’t live for a long time.
3. If, on the contrary, the activity of the gene is hyper stimulated, a test animal will live for a longer time.

When will we see men living up to a few hundreds of years and over?

On April 26, 2007 the German Minister of the Environment announced an 8-step measure program to be carried out following the decisions taken by the European Council on March 8, 9. As a president of the European Union, Germany established for itself a 40% reduction quota for the emission of gases with a greenhouse effect till the year 2020. While this quota for the rest of the European Union countries is established at 30%.

On April 18, 2007, the British representation initiated a decision that has been already classified as HISTORIC by the Security Council of the United Nations. In fact, Great Britain, gave a permission to all the world countries, even to the USA, China et Russia that are experiencing a certain backlog in this respect, to discuss the issue of the global warming. Great Britain regards this debate as a potential source of ethnic rivalry in the countries’ race for obtaining water and energy supplies.
